Abel Harana is a young dancer from Sanlucar de Barrameda (Cádiz). He begins in the flamenco world at an early age with masters such as José Antonio Benitez (part of the Cia. Of Antonio Gades), Ana Maria López in Jerez de la Frontera, and later with Joaquín Grilo, Manolo Marin, El Güito.
At 18 he won the first prize at the National Dancing Competition "Noches de Bajo de Guía". Runs through several countries as part of the companies of María Carrasco, Rafael de Córdoba, Jose Porcel, María Pagés, and the company of Pepa Montes and Ricardo Miño, with who he has the opportunity to premiere his own choreography at the Bienal de Flamenco of Seville at the Lope de Vega Theatre.
Performed as a guest artist with the flamenco piano player Pedro Ricardo Miño at many festivals (Belgium, Luxembourg, Mont de Marsan). Worked in 2010 in Japan (Fukuoka) and in Tokyo in 2011 at the Yoko Tamura show as a guest artist.
Is part of the "Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía" directed by Cristina Hoyos for six years. In 2010 the show "Old Memory" premiered in the XIV Jerez Festival with the dancer Patricia Ibañez. In 2012 performed in Dubai and Qatar in a music festival together with the piano player David Peña Dorantes and the dancer Juan de Juan.
