Born in the gypsy quarter of Triana (Seville), Herminia Borja started singing at an early age in private family parties and then work in tablaos of Seville as Los Gallos, El Are-nal, The Bulería, etc. She has sung for Manuela Carrasco, Antonio Canales, Rocío Jurado, Paco de Lucia, who took her on his last tour. He has also collaborated on albums by Nina Pastori, Marina Heredia, La Tana or "Pele."
