Guillem Pérez Quer studied at the Superior Conservatory of Liceu with the Professor Juan Francisco Garrido, and gradated obtaining the Award of  Excellence. Later on he continued his studies with the prestigious pedagogue Oscar Cáceres. Eventually he became the most outstanding student of the famous Argentine guitarist María Luisa Anido in Catalonia. 

He has received many international awards, among others the outstanding prize of  'Maria Canals'.
